SCPFC Training Calendar
- Tuesday night trainings will run from 6:00 until 8:00 and will earn 2 contact hours.
- Trainings are subject to change according to need.
- You may begin to sign up for the trainings on the First Day of each month. It is first come first serve and seats are limited.
- Saturday classes may differ in time and contact hours.
- All participants must be actively engaged in the conversations and participate with questions posed.
- Payments will need to be made ahead of time at The Partnership with the exact change.
- We will need at least 5 participants to conduct each training

September 17th Tuesday | Daily Schedule and Lesson Planning In Person at Sampson County Partnership for Children This training will focus on limiting transition times and creating a schedule that minimizes disruptive behaviors. October 15th Tuesday | Emergency Preparedness Response for Child Care In person at Sampson County Partnership for Children This training provides early educators with information and tools to prepare for many types of emergencies. The EPR for child care addresses the NC Child Care Rules on emergency preparedness, current best practice recommendations and guidance on completing the online EPR plan. | 6:00 to 8:30 | $10 | Latonia Melvin & Tabitha Silvey |
November 19th Tuesday | Children with Disabilities: Autism In Person at Sampson County Partnership for Children This training will focus on children with Autism. We will discuss ways in which teachers can create inclusive classrooms for children with Autism. January 11th Saturday | CPR & First Aid In- Person at Sampson County Partnership for Children. This training will focus on recognizing and caring for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and babies. | 10:00 to 1:00 | $50 | Joe Cagle |
February 11th Tuesday | Diversity and Culturally Responsive Classrooms In Person at Sampson County Partnership for Children This training will focus on creating classrooms that promote diversity in centers, art/decor, and activity planning. March 11th Tuesday | Professionalism: Stress in the Workplace In Person at Sampson County Partnership for Children This training will discuss ways to maintain professionalism in the early childhood education field. April 8th Tuesday | Playground Safety In Person at Sampson County Partnership for Children Classroom training focused on playground safety. *NC Pre-K teachers for Sampson County Schools and Clinton City Schools will not be asked to pay for trainings.*
**Regulatory Trainings
Effective July 1st, 2022
Before Arrival:
Upon Arrival:
- Only Training Participants allowed in building for training.
- No guests will be permitted.
- Training participants will not be allowed to enter the training area NO earlier than 15 minutes prior to training.
- Late training participants will not be permitted to enter into the training room.
- Training participants must bring their own pen.
- Must sign in as you enter the training room.
- Do not switch seats once seated.
- Keep your area clean.
- Dispose of any trash properly during and after training.
