Primary Purpose of Position:
The primary duties of the Community Services Coordinator are to serve as liaison between the Partnership and the community, keeping the community informed of Smart Stat programs, activities and achievements. This position will also seek out grant and resource opportunities.

- Ensures consistent use of narratives, messaging and branding across the organization and with partner agencies.
- Supports the Executive Director with preparation, planning, execution and post-event activities for all events.
- Proofreads outward-facing communication created by other departments.
- Maintains Constant Contact email list by regularly scrubbing it of old, invalid and bounced emails that increase our chances of being marked as spam.
- Promotes and solicit new newsletter sign-ups.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures of the organization.
- Shares opportunities on our digital marketing platforms (social media, website, newsletter, etc.).
- Provides event support as needed.
- Promotes events on social media, website and third-party platforms throughout the community.
- Hosts at a minimum, quarterly meetings with the Resource and Development and Fundraising Committees.
- Actively seeks fundraising and grant writing opportunities.
- Advocates for children and their families at the local, state, and national levels.
- Complies with all purchasing, internal control, grant, bidding, and other policies and procedures of the Partnership.
- Prepares and maintains quarter reports and documentation that demonstrate CAD and logic model compliance to submit such reports as requested by Senior Manager of Program Evaluation & Accountability.
- • Enters data into the Partnership’s IMPACT Database.

Qualifications/Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and meet the requirements listed below.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Occasional evening, early morning, and/or weekend hours required.
- Local travel is required.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in one of the following areas: Communications, Media, Community Engagement, or other related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to design and maintain a website
- Ability to design brochures and other promotional materials using desktop publishing software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Must be able to effectively present information orally and in writing.
- Must be able to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Must assume responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of work product.
- Should be proficient with typing.
